Sustainable architecture: The sustainability Jigsaw and how it affects you
This is an informative and interactive session which will help you to understand, manage and prioritise the legislative and regulatory requirements for various types of projects. You will gain an understanding of the Sustainable Development remit of the Welsh government and its impact on the design and construction sectors.
The course includes a report on the outcomes of BRE’s Integrated Design research project on Designing Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (working towards the 2020 Near Zero Energy Buildings Directive).

You can access this course online. There is one unique enrolment process to access all six Sustainable Architecture courses. The Sustainable Architecture course suite includes:
*Study of these 2 subjects, complemented with assessment, contributes to the achievement of a 1-credit qualification at CQFW Level 5.
The online content includes the recordings of presentations that have been delivered during half-day sessions at venues across Wales. These presentations have been completed with Q&A from the sessions, further reading and an opportunity for online discussion on the subject.
