Sustainable Architecture: Refurbishment and performance of pre-1919 buildings
The seminar sets the scene with a review of current and proposed legislative frameworks and their use in practice in Wales and further explores Cadw’s conservation principles, policies and guidance affecting the refurbishment of pre-1919 buildings. With an emphasis on practice in Wales, the course examines pre-and post-refurbishment energy performance studies, and features case studies of recent, planned or live heritage projects.

You can access this course online. There is one unique enrolment process to access all six Sustainable Architecture ourses. The Sustainable Architecture course suite includes:
*Study of these 2 subjects, complemented with assessment, contributes to achievement of 1-credit qualification at CQFW Level 5.
The online content includes the recordings of presentations that have been delivered during half-day sessions at venues across Wales. These presentations have been completed with Q&A from the sessions, further reading and an opportunity for online discussion on the subject.
